Comunidy Payments, Refunds, Member+, and Contributions

Checkout

Where available, payment is completed on a Stripe-hosted page for the community. Review the amount and billing period shown before checkout. Comunidy's current platform fee is 0%.

Paid Events, paid Classes, Contributions, and Member+ use direct charges on the applicable community's connected Stripe account. Stripe processing charges are separate and are charged to the connected account under its Stripe agreement. Refunds reduce that account's balance. Original provider processing, Connect, or currency-conversion fees may not be returned.

Refund requests

Cancellation and refunds are separate. Cancellation does not guarantee a refund. Availability depends on the purchase, community, cancellation, and payment state. The app shows available refund actions where applicable. Authorized community financial operators review eligible Event or Class refund requests; full or partial refunds are available only where supported by the purchase and payment workflow.

A refund may remain pending, require more information, fail, or complete later. A completed refund can take additional time to appear through your payment provider. Original provider fees may not be returned to the community's connected account.

Member+

Member+ applies to the individual community, not all of Comunidy. Where offered, monthly and annual paid plans renew until canceled. A scheduled cancellation generally keeps access active until the current paid period ends. Manage a paid subscription through the Stripe-hosted billing portal available in the app. Authorized community administrators may also grant included Member+ access without billing. Community ownership or an administrative role alone does not provide Member+ access.

Contributions

A Contribution is a one-time payment supporting the community through Stripe. It does not activate Member+, reserve an Event or Class place, purchase participation, or automatically provide benefits or entitlements. Comunidy does not certify tax deductibility.

Contact the community or Comunidy Support about Contribution refund availability. Availability and status depend on the payment and applicable community rules. A Contribution does not carry a guaranteed refund outcome.
