A quiet lab for prayer and well-being.
LUMEN ∞ CORE opens new possibilities for ethically studying how consistent, focused prayer relates to mental, emotional, and physical well-being—without ever turning worship into an experiment for those who do not choose it.
New questions, better tools.
With carefully designed, opt-in research programs, it becomes possible to study questions such as:
- How does regular, focused prayer relate to perceived stress and resilience?
- What patterns emerge between prayer regularity and sleep quality?
- How does building a family routine around prayer affect belonging and emotional health?
- What does it mean to cultivate “presence” in measurable yet respectful ways?
Depth over volume.
Rather than capturing everything, LUMEN ∞ CORE focuses on a narrow but meaningful set of signals—timing, posture, stillness, and rhythm—paired with thoughtful self-report and context. The goal is quality, not quantity.
Consent, anonymity, and purpose.
Any research collaboration built on LUMEN ∞ CORE will be:
- Opt-in. No user is ever automatically included in research.
- Transparent. Clear information about what is being studied and why.
- Anonymized. Personal identifiers removed or protected by design.
- Reviewed. Appropriate ethical and scholarly review processes in place.
The purpose is to deepen understanding and service—not to commercialize spiritual life.
Working with institutions.
Over time, LUMEN ∞ CORE aims to support collaborations with universities, research centers, and institutes focused on mental health, spirituality, and human flourishing—especially those interested in Muslim communities and faith-informed well-being.
From pilots to ongoing programs.
Initial pilots may be small and focused—such as measuring stress and calm before and after structured periods of prayer. As tools and trust mature, more complex, longitudinal studies may become possible, always anchored in consent and clarity.
